In Loving Memory of Ernesta Samedi

ERNSTA SAMEDI, 32, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2006, after a long illness. She was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and was the beloved daughter of Ernest M. Samedi and Andrea Samedi.

She is survived by her cherished daughter, Kerwina Lindsay Alexandre Samedi; her parents, Ernest M. Samedi and Andrea Samedi; her sister, Gerthy Samedi; her brother, Andre M. Samedi, and family; and her grandmother, Merzilie Bichotte.

She is also lovingly remembered by her godmother, Christine Larose, and family; her aunts, Delourdes Bien-Aimé, Viola Ozulma, and Gislaine Lamarre, and her great aunt and uncle; Mr. and Mrs. Gelin Cangé; as well as her cousins Alain and Martine Thelusma, Vladimir Sabbat, Winddy and Pierre Etienne Exantus, and many other relatives and friends.

Ernsta is also survived by her church family, including Reverend and Mrs. James Brown, and all those whose lives were touched by her presence.

Calling hours will be held at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, located at 2900 Summer Street, on Friday, September 1, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 2, at 9:00 AM, at Evangelical Community Church, located at 1155 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT.
