With hearts filled with gratitude for a life beautifully lived, our family will be holding a Messe d’Action de Grâce (Mass of Thanksgiving) in loving memory of our beloved mother, Philomene Jesula Rene.
While we continue to grieve her physical absence, we gather not only in remembrance, but in thanksgiving — to thank God for the gift of her life, for the love she gave so freely, and for the legacy she leaves behind.
A Mass of Thanksgiving is a sacred moment in the Catholic tradition. It is a time of prayer, reflection, and gratitude. It allows family and friends to unite in faith, offering thanks for the blessings of a life that touched so many, while entrusting her soul to God’s eternal mercy and peace.
