Gelin, a native of Fond-des-Blancs, was born into a family of six siblings: Julienne, Vitesse, Luibe, Diqueur, and Elda. During his early adulthood, he made the decision to leave Fond-des-Blancs and establish his residence in Port-au-Prince, the capital city. Gelin's endearing simplicity endeared him to all who knew him, and his unwavering dedication as a hardworking individual has been evident in his relentless efforts to ensure the welfare of his children and those in his circle of influence.

Philomene Rene, the sole daughter among three brothers, entered this world in Petion-Ville, Haiti. Throughout her life, she has exemplified industriousness, dedicating herself to supporting her husband. Philomene's unwavering commitment and hard work have endeared her to her children and grandchildren, earning her profound love and admiration. Her loyalty as a friend knows no bounds, and she has consistently gone above and beyond to extend a helping hand to those in need.
